Travel: 20% across EMEA (Hybrid role - 3-4 days/week on-site).
Summary:
Support the CEHS Programme Lead in implementing and managing Construction HSE projects and programs for a large national/international corporate account across EMEA. Oversee projects from design through to handover ensuring compliance with Client standards and promoting a risk-averse approach. Collaborate with design teams contractors and regional HSE teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight & Governance: Support the implementation of the Clients Project Guide & Global Playbook (Design Standards) through active engagement with Design Team members and appointed Principal / General Contractors.
- Risk Management: Promote a Risk Averse approach to managing all construction programme elements working with contractors to identify and mitigate health safety & environmental risks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Executives & Project Managers on engagement of local HSE services.
- Reporting: Review and evaluate CEHS programs. Prepare monthly performance metrics and incident data reports.
- Compliance: Monitor HSE regulatory compliance and support the development and implementation of strategic solutions.
- Leadership: Lead by example providing HSE expertise and promoting a strong safety culture.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in Construction Engineering Facilities or Manufacturing.
- 3rd Level College /University (HSE or Construction) or Bachelors degree (BA/BS)
- Strong knowledge of European HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications (IOSH CSP ASP CHST CIH CHMM or regional equivalents) preferred
