Job Summary
Are you ready for the next step in your career We are looking for a Subcontracting Manager Pressure Parts to be part of our Global Production Services.
As a Subcontracting Manager You will be responsible for the subcontracting of boiler pressure parts and coordinating delivery supervision in an international will also participate in development of the subcontractor network and for the assessment of new position is within Global Production Services.
You will report to Senior Manager Global Production Services.
Position is located in Gliwice Poland but we consider other Valmet location in Poland.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the outsourced pressure parts manufacturing project (schedule costs quality) in implementation phase in EMEA
Prepare the outsourced manufacturing contract materials and lead the contract negotiations
Participate in pressure parts manufacturing supplier network maintaining and development
Support Senior Supply Planner in pressure parts manufacturing inquiry process
Support Senior Manager Global Production Services and Senior Subcontracting Manager Global Production Services in supplier selection phase
Develop supervision plans for outsourced pressure parts manufacturing projects and coordinate manufacturing supervision during manufacturing phase
Participate and lead various development projects in the area of pressure parts manufacturing
To succeed in this role you will need:
Minimum three years experience of subcontracting and/or manufacturing in international environment.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical field
Contract negotiation and project /claim management skills
The ability of learning different business cultures
Knowledge of welding and boiler pressure manufacturing methodology is seen as an advantage
Knowledge of different boiler pressure vessel codes and related standards is seen as an advantage
Fluent in English language
Ready to travel on regular basis
