Role Purpose & Summary
As the Head of the Peace-of-Mind Office you will provide strategic and operational support to the CEO of our Health business and leadership team. You will:
- Design drive and coordinate the Health strategy as we continue to evolve and grow our business.
- Support business units to build market-specific Health strategies aligned with our long-term vision.
- Provide air traffic control of Group and market-led Health initiatives ensuring clear alignment co-ordination and sequencing across functions and business units.
- Shape and evaluate M&A and partnership opportunities across healthcare Health-tech and insurance adjacencies.
- Oversee strategic transformation initiatives and ensure disciplined delivery of outcomes.
- Ensure we consistently reinforce our value proposition through our Health strategy and day-to-day operations making peace-of-mind the starting point of everything we do.
- Coordinate Health-specific input into high-profile internal and external reporting on business performance and strategic progress.
- Oversee the engagement of key stakeholders (e.g. employees Board and strategic partners and shareholders) with the goal of driving widespread awareness excitement and support for our Health strategy.
- Track and report on our strategic investments and projects ensuring transparency of performance and alignment to long-term goals.
- Act as the liaison between the CEO Health and our Group Strategy Finance and Transformation teams.
This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to the Prudential Group Executive Committee and senior stakeholders across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of Health Business strategy including growth beyond our current focus.
- Conduct market scans and competitor analyses to identify emerging trends white spaces and adjacencies in health insurance and healthcare services.
- Prepare strategy papers board materials and CEO briefings on health business priorities.
- M&A & Strategic Investments
- Work closely with Group Strategy Finance and external advisors to assess M&A opportunities.
- Support due diligence valuation and integration planning for potential health-related acquisitions or partnerships.
- Monitor and track performance of North Star and other health investments.
- Transformation & Execution Oversight
- Coordinate strategic transformation initiatives in the Health Business (e.g. digital health platforms and claims transformation).
- Establish delivery cadence track risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Partner with transformation leads business unit CEOs and Chief Health Officers to ensure alignment and execution consistency.
- Business Management & CEO Support
- Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO Health on key decisions.
- Prepare materials for Prudentials Group Executive Committee Prudentials Board and external stakeholders.
- Provide integration across multiple stakeholders (regional market Group functions) to ensure health strategy coherence.

Experience
- 18-20 years experience in strategy business management consulting or corporate development with exposure to health insurance or healthcare sectors.
- Proven track record in M&A execution strategy development or large-scale transformation.
- Experience working in multinational matrixed environments.
Education
- Degree in Business Finance Healthcare Management or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (board-level quality).
- Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint Excel PowerBI/Tableau.
- Ability to influence and build relationships across senior stakeholder groups.
