Role Summary/Purpose:

• Align responsibilities/day to day duties with shop needs and engage the floor with process improvements
• Collaborate closely with technicians shop ops and other key stakeholders to ensure project buy-in and execute
• Create & maintain a list of priorities based on defined projects & initiatives
• Set up and maintain inventory of parts & tooling as needed to support Gate 1
• Ensure all projects remain within compliance of EHS and Quality policies
• Demonstrated ability to drive and execute projects to completion
• Maintain inventory of Gate 1 tooling
• Perform repair maintenance as needed
• Set up workstation layouts and tooling display for various modules
• Perform other related duties as requested/assigned by Gate 1 Leader

• Provide support in the disassembly when needed
• Collaborate closely with ops teams and cross-functions to address specific Tooling related and manufacturing processes that need to be improved

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Associates degree from an accredited college/university OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of technical experience supporting a shop floor as a turbine tech or other support function.
• Experience with Gas Turbine engines preferably aircraft or aero derivatives

Desired Characteristics:

• Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant License
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel MS PowerPoint
• Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
