Job Description:

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security measures to protect information systems.
Support the configuration and management of security tools and technologies (e.g. firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems antivirus software).
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards such as COBIT ITIL ISO27001 and NIST.
Assist in the development and maintenance of internal tools to automate and enhance security operations.
Write scripts and basic programs to support data analysis security monitoring and compliance reporting.
Document development processes and provide training for team members on new tools and functionalities.

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
Passionate and interested in Information Technology.
Familiarity with governance or security standards like COBIT ITIL ISO27001 and NIST is advantageous.
Hardworking highly accountable and reliable.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles threat modeling and vulnerability management.
Basic understanding of network security encryption technologies and incident response.
Experience with basic programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell) for tool development.
Prefer full-time interns for a 3-month duration.

Nice to have:

Ability to develop automation for day to day work (python or any other scripting language).
