Job Summary

Position Summary
This open-rank faculty position in the Department of American Studies focuses on American Indian and Indigenous Studies. The selected candidate will be appointed at the Assistant or Associate Professor level depending on qualifications. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area(s) or expertise as well as one of the core courses in our undergraduate curriculum with a teaching load of two courses per semester (2/2). The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research and teaching.

Demonstrated evidence of research or creative activity that meaningfully engages Tribal nations.
