An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to be part of the Joint Legal Services Team which supports both West Midlands and Staffordshire Police Forces and their Police and Crime Commissioners.
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join our team and assist in providing a comprehensive legal service to our clients. This role will have a focus on Police Misconduct and Inquest work but Joint Legal Services provide a complete and varied legal service for its clients and flexibility to work across all areas of police law and practice is required.
As a Senior Lawyer you will line manage a team of lawyers whose focus is representing our clients through Inquests and Police Misconduct hearings of varied complexity.

Hours:The post holder will be required to work core service hours..
Location: Lloyd House Birmingham.
Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Management Vetting and Security Clearancescrutiny prior to commencing their role this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
