Job Description:

We are looking for a Fractional Database Administrator with solid experience in AWS MySQL. Experience with Amazon Aurora is a plus. This role is focused on providing expert support to ensure our databases are designed optimized and maintained according to best practices.

Responsibilities:

Design and define database structures to support business applications.
Create and manage indexing strategies to improve performance.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning as needed.
Optimize queries for efficiency and scalability.
Ensure database security backup and recovery in line with best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to support application requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience with AWS MySQL databases.
Experience with Amazon Aurora is an advantage.
Strong skills in database design indexing and performance monitoring.
Solid understanding of query optimization and best practices in database management.
Ability to provide part-time (fractional) support and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

- Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks. - Experience with mobile app architecture design patterns and performance optimization. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs third-party libraries and integrating with backend services. - Knowledge of iOS and Android build processes app store deployment and debugging tools. - Understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows. - Ability to write clean maintainable and scalable code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
