The Opportunity
This newly created role is designed for a strategic relationship-driven business developer ready to take ownership of sales growth across emerging verticals. As Business Development Manager youll lead sales strategy and execution serving as the face of sales for the company while expanding into new sectors like parking higher education and public infrastructure.
While you wont be leading a team initially youll be responsible for shaping the direction of business development for new verticals and laying the groundwork to build a future sales organization as the company continues to scale.
Youll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the VP of Sales for the transit division.
What Youll Do
- Lead sales strategy and business development initiatives across IoT smart infrastructure and public-sector markets.
- Build and nurture partnerships with OEMs integrators public agencies and distributors.
- Identify and close new opportunities through consultative selling and long-term relationship building.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Participate in RFP processes presentations and complex deal negotiations.
- Represent the company at trade shows conferences and industry events.
- Clearly communicate product value ROI and integration opportunities in smart city and SaaS environments.
