Job Summary

Jpixx is hiring our first dedicated sales rep to build a proactive outbound pipeline.
Weve grown through referrals for more than a decade now were ready to expand intentionally into new commercial markets and government sectors.

This is NOT a marketing role and NOT an account manager role.
This is a hunter role.

Youll own outbound prospecting discovery and dealflow partnering directly with our founders and producers to bring in new work.

Especially regulated or slow-moving industries (government education healthcare etc.).

Youve managed a sales cycle from first outreach signed deal.

Core Responsibilities

1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation (primary focus)

  • Build and manage a pipeline of commercial government and agency prospects
  • Proactively reach out via email calls social and networking
  • Get us into the right rooms with the right buyers

2. Discovery Pitching & Presenting

  • Lead compelling discovery calls
  • Present our capabilities clearly and confidently
  • Help clients understand our creative approach

3. Proposal & Deal Management

  • Partner with producers/owners to scope projects
  • Prepare proposals and estimates
  • Negotiate budgets and timelines
  • Close new business ethically and effectively

4. Government & Public-Sector Support

  • Monitor relevant RFPs
  • Help qualify opportunities
  • Support our team on proposal submissions (not alone)

5. Early Relationship Management

  • Maintain warm communication until project kickoff
  • Ensure smooth handoff to production
  • Spot upsell/ongoing opportunities

 

What You WONT Do

(This is important please read.)

You will NOT:

  • run marketing campaigns
  • produce creative work
  • manage internal video teams
  • write long RFPs alone
  • oversee social media
  • act as an account manager
  • take on operations work

This role is about opening doors and generating revenue.


Qualifications :

Required

  • 13 years in outbound sales or business development
  • Experience selling services (creative marketing SaaS consulting media etc.)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to hit targets and manage pipeline
  • Comfortable with autonomy
  • Comfortable with basic government procurement concepts
  • Local Candidates Only Not a Remote Role
    This position requires regular in-person collaboration with our creative and production teams.
    Hybrid flexibility is available but applicants must live in (or be willing to relocate to) the Hampton Roads / Virginia Beach area.
    We are not considering fully remote candidates for this role.

  • Familiarity with video/creative production
  • Experience with longer sales cycles
  • Existing network in corporate agency or government sectors
  • Strong writing skills for outreach

Additional Information :

Compensation
