Job Description

Were looking for a driven and personable account manager to help us grow our genomic services business. If you haveexperience in both sales and the genomics field know how to build relationships and are excited about the opportunity to help us expand into new markets we want to hear from you!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed your goals helping us expand our customer base in the genomics field.
  • Building Relationships: Work with key people in healthcare academic and research sectors to create lasting relationships and help them see the value in our genomic services.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Use your experience in both sales and genomics to connect with potential customers
  • Sales Process: Help guide customers through the entire sales processfrom preparing proposals negotiating deals to closing sales and making sure everything runs smoothly from quote to delivery.
  • Managing Pipeline & Forecasts: Keep track of your sales opportunities and goals updating forecasts and providing regular updates on progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and business teams to align on campaigns and initiatives that support sales growth and business objectives.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in genomics so you can confidently talk about our offerings and their impact with customers.
  • Other Support: Pitch in with other tasks or projects as needed to help our team succeed.

Desired Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical engineering (Molecular Biology Biochemistry or similar discipline). Technical understanding of next generation sequencing is preferred.
  • 2-3 years sales experience with a proven ability to hit goals and drive results. Experience in genomics or life sciences is key to success.
  • Prior experience working with or within SingHealth A*STAR or Singapores research/clinical ecosystem is highly preferred.
  • Familiar with public healthcare procurement protocols and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
  • Communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English supporting cross-border discussions with internal teams (e.g. technical logistics and regional HQ) and clients.
