Purpose of the position
The Sales Support and Control Manager plays a critical role in optimizing sales operations and ensuring alignment across various functions to drive performance and achieve targets at Pernod-Ricard.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Sales Coordination and Control
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation by coordinating sales activities and providing robust administrative support to the sales team.
- Engage with field representatives to empower them in achieving their goals ensuring we are connected and united in our efforts.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement transforming challenges into opportunities.
Data Management and Reporting
- Align and manage sales data across multiple systems ensuring accuracy and consistency to inform decision-making.
- Prepare insightful reports and analyses using external databases and Power BI contributing to a data-driven culture.
- Administer merchandising services and manage POS material inventory with a keen eye for detail ensuring operational efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with finance marketing and logistics to ensure seamless operations embodying our value of connectedness beyond borders.
- Manage contracts and data for Key Account customers with a results-oriented approach focusing on maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the sales function.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Economics or a related field is required.
Experience: 35 years of experience in sales support controlling or a similar role is necessary.
Capabilities:
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
- Analytical skills with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with Nielsen and external databases
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in customer service
- Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams
