Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager (Health Safety & Environment) professional to take a key leadership role at a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and develop an OccupationalHealth&Safety (Safety and Security) focused team of 6 professionals within the sites HSE function.
Work in close cooperation with a broader HSSE (Health Safety Security Environment) group and report directly to the site-level HSSE lead.
Oversee all standard occupational health and safety activities ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary HSE contact for internal stakeholders external partners and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with both internal standards and external legal requirements.
Prepare and submit reports to relevant public bodies.
Apply risk assessment and analysis techniques to identify and mitigate hazards.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams across the site.
Participate actively in internal and external audits.
What you will need to succeed:
Minimum of 5years of experience in a Health & Safety leadership role (with preferably Occupational safety focus)
Relevantqualification in Occupational Safety.
Proven background working in a manufacturing or production-oriented environment.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Fluency inEnglish(written and spoken).
Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive hands-on and solutions-oriented approach.
Desirable but not required:
Degree in chemical engineering chemistry or pharmacy.
Fire safety certification (basic or advanced).
Familiarity with chemical manufacturing or technology processes.
