Location:Providence RI Pawtucket RI Central Falls RI (please note: you may be placed at any of our sites that have openings or be expected to float to other sites)
Reports To: Mental Health and Disabilities Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time- 37.5-40 hours per week

We are looking for a Behavior Support Specialist who thrives in a dynamic early childhood setting. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact on the behavioral social-emotional and academic growth of young childrenespecially those with unique challenges and strengths.
What Youll Do:
Deliver therapeutic and behavioral interventions including ABA strategies and de-escalation techniques.
Partner with lead teachers to embed individualized plans into daily classroom life.
Support children during instruction play transitions dismissaland every moment in between.
Step in during classroom crises with calm compassionate problem-solving.
Track student progress through consistent accurate documentation.
Build positive trusting relationships with children families and fellow educators.
Collaborate in a trauma-informed equity-centered environment.
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or associate degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
35 years of experience working with preschoolers with behavioral needsrequired; ABA experience a plus.
Strong communication skills and a team mindset.
Flexibility empathy and a deep belief in the potential of every child.
Bilingual skills are a plus!
