Are you highly organised detail-oriented and committed to supporting LGBTIQ communities We are looking for a passionate Family Violence Brokerage Administrator to play a key role in delivering vital financial support to those impacted by family and intimate partner violence. This is your opportunity to work with a leading community-controlled organisation supporting programs that help individuals build safety stability and recovery.

About the Role

Working within the Finance People & Corporate Services team and supporting the work of our Therapeutic Services & Family Violence Programs the Brokerage Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of two essential programs:

  • Flexible Support Packages (FSPs) providing limited financial assistance to LGBTIQ victim-survivors of family violence to support safety and recovery.
  • Family Violence Crisis Brokerage offering emergency financial support to increase the safety and wellbeing of victim-survivors and in some cases people who have used violence.

The role will also:

Administer the FSP and Crisis Brokerage programs including procurement budget tracking and compliance.

Liaise with internal and external case managers and services via phone and email.

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly and quarterly reports to funding bodies.

Provide administrative support to the broader finance team as required.

While this is not a client-facing role youll work closely with case managers internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial support.

About You

Were seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in finance or administration particularly brokerage purchasing and budgeting.
  • Proficient with Excel Adobe Acrobat DC and ideally SmartyGrants.
  • Organised with excellent time management and administrative skills.
  • Skilled in communication and able to liaise respectfully across teams and services.
  • Committed to working in a non-judgmental inclusive manner with diverse communities including LGBTIQ people and those affected by family violence.

In addition to a salary of SCHADS Level 3 (pro-rata) plus superannuation Thorne Harbour also pays above award.
