We are currently seeking a Quality Sampling Technician to join our this role youll be responsible for sampling finished goods to ensure they meet our customers quality expectations. Youll work independently once trained performing detailed testing and separation of various metal samples using specialized equipment and scales.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys focused hands-on work and has an interest in quality control or materials inspection. Previous experience in Quality Assurance is preferredbut were willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and the right mindset.
Responsibilities
Sample and test finished metal goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and distinguish between different types of metals.
Separate materials into designated containers for weighing and documentation.
Operate testing equipment and scales accurately.
Maintain organized records and follow established testing procedures.
Work independently once trained demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in quality assurance or manufacturing preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive or long-duration tasks.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Basic computer or documentation skills a plus.
Must be able to sit for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Compensation
Pay:$22.00 $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Opportunity for pay increase upon full-time hire
Schedule
Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
