About the Role

Our Inspire at Home Program provides support to young people 12 years to 18 years who require placement in a residential setting. The Program Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic operational and service delivery oversight of Inspire at Home services across Tasmania. This role ensures effective implementation coordination and continuous improvement of program operations aligned with CatholicCare Tasmanias mission values and service objectives.

About You

As the Program Manager reporting directly to the Executive Manager Child and Youth Services you will work alongside the Practice Manager. You will demonstrate strong strategic and operational leadership across therapeutic residential care services ensuring safe trauma-informed and responsive support for young people. You will be responsible for overseeing statewide program delivery including staffing models service systems compliance and quality assurance. The role requires a high level of accountability in managing budgets contracts and reporting obligations while fostering a culture of safety collaboration and continuous improvement.

The Program Manager will:

  • Hold Tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology Allied Health or equivalent experience
  • Lead the strategic and operational delivery of therapeutic residential care services across Tasmania ensuring trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
  • Oversee staffing models workforce planning and service systems to support safe effective and high-quality care.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative contractual and quality assurance standards including reporting and risk management.
  • Manage program budgets contracts and resource allocation in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Provide leadership in recruitment supervision and performance management fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
  • Partner with the Practice Manager to align operational and therapeutic priorities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reports submissions and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of safety accountability and innovation across all aspects of program operations.
