Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort an idyllic resort based in The Hunter Valley are looking for an experienced leader to fill the role of Hotel Manager. We are looking for a positive person with high standards and an ability to build a team to run the business at its optimum efficiency.
The role is primarily responsible for Hotel Management Operations Maintenance and Strata Management.
About the role:
- You will draw on your passion initiative drive and strategic approach to deliver a great product for our guests
- Manage the day-to-day profitability presentation and operation of the entire property
- Manage financial forecasting rostering and implementing promotions to increase sales
- Developing and managing the property team to reach their highest potential
- Responsible for making strategic decisions relating to increasing RevPAR for the company through collating and analysing data as required
Expected Hours: Full time 38 hours per week
Location: Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort - 15 Thompsons Rd Pokolbin NSW 2320
Salary: $110000-$115000 (excluding super)

Qualifications :
To be successful you will require the following experience:
- Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
- Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement
- A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests owners and staff
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
- Ability to build maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
- A positive and energetic attitude
- An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests
