- Reports to: Chief Development Officer
- Department: Communications and Marketing External Relations Division Central Office
- Location: Remote (Preferably in Kansas or Missouri)
- Classification & Status: Exempt Full-Time
- Work Schedule: 40-hour work week approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Campaigns and Strategy Manager will report to the Chief Development Officer. This web and email-focused role is responsible for executing SparkWheels Marketing and Communications Strategic Plan and leading the design delivery and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms. This role combines strategy with hands-on production managing email marketing website updates CRM integration analytics and creative design. The Marketing Campaigns and Strategy Manager ensures that campaigns are audience-centered data-driven and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities - Lead campaign strategy in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and the Digital Engagement and Content Manager.
- Manage email marketing campaigns website updates and CRM integrations.
- Design and produce campaign collateral reports and event materials (digital and print).
- Oversee workflows timelines and cross-departmental campaign deliverables.
- Track and analyze campaign performance generating actionable insights.
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms and communications.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members to strengthen organizational impact.
We are looking for a hybrid professional who can create polished content and designandmanage the technical systems and analytics that make campaigns effective. This role ensures communications arent just well-written and designed but also strategically delivered measured and optimized. Our Communications and Marketing team is growing and we are looking for a collaborative creative professional to join us.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Creative Content Production and Editing (40%) - Write edit and copyedit donor communications blog posts newsletters press releases and marketing materials.
- Write clear engaging content aligned with brand voice.
- Create graphics and templates for email web and campaign collateral.
- Create and update graphics for website email print (and social media as needed).
- Design visual assets (digital and print) consistent with brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Digital Engagement and Content Manager on messaging and storytelling.
Digital Infrastructure Systems Campaign Execution and Optimization (40%) - Partner with the Chief Development Officer and the Digital Engagement and Content Manager to plan campaigns then lead implementation across digital and traditional channels.
- Test optimize and report on campaign performance.
- Own email marketing strategy list segmentation automation testing and performance reporting.
- Website and digital maintenance including updating pages and resources on the website (CMS management SEO basics).
- Manages CMS updates content builds landing pages optimizes UX and SEO.
- Ensure CRM and data systems integrate smoothly (CRM email website donation).
- Build analytic dashboards and reports across web/email recommending optimizations.
- Manage email marketing (lists templates automations and reporting).
- Track campaign performance and produce analytics dashboards.
Communications Marketing and Public Relations (20%) - Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer on public relations strategies and brand development.
- Support the Director of Donor and Media Relations in executing media campaigns.
- Attend key events and promote SparkWheels work and mission.
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives as directed.
- Completes other tasks and activities as assigned by the President and CEO or Chief Development Officer.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications: At a minimum the Marketing Campaigns and Strategy Manager must have a bachelors degree in graphic design web design illustration animation or in communications marketing public relations or journalism with a robust skillset and experience in addition the Marketing Campaigns and Strategy Manager shall have: - At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a designer and in successfully managing digital communications or in a similar role.
- Proven track record in developing successful content strategies and engagement campaigns preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Strong skills in email marketing campaign optimization website management and analytics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/Canva and CRM/marketing automation platforms email marketing tools social media scheduling software and social media management platforms (e.g. Hootsuite Sprout Social).
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from strategy to execution with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Dedication to relationship building and a commitment to working as an integral part of the team while exercising significant initiative and autonomy.
- Video editing and production skills.
- Outstanding analytical creative and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
