Whats the role

As a Senior Manager youll play a pivotal role in evaluating directing and monitoring first-line risk activities ensuring Technology risks remain within the Westpac Groups appetite. You will advise Technology Leaders especially in IT Infrastructure and Service Managementon identifying assessing and mitigating risks from IT projects. Your expertise will support project delivery enhance risk transparency and drive informed decision-making. You will coordinate risk-related activities across the portfolio and maintain and improve risk reporting within the portfolio.

What do I need

• Extensive experience in Technology risk and Risk in Change roles for IT infrastructure projects within large complex organisations (ideally financial services)
• Deep understanding of Technology especially IT infrastructure components such as networks operating systems databases and public cloud
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving planning and project management abilities
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with PowerBI PowerApps VBA and Excel for data analysis and reporting (preferable). Ability to derive insights and recommendations from analysing large sets of data.
