Rests Data Technology and Delivery (DTD) business unit is accountable for planning and preparing the
organisation for the future through strategic technology innovation as well as charting our business
strategy and executing for today and tomorrow.
Situated in the Business Analysis Practice the Senior Business Analyst has two main priorities:
1. Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owner/Sponsors to ensure that business needs and
solutions options are understood
2. Ensuring the product/platform/project team have a shared understanding of the requirements
through written and verbal communication.
We are looking for someone with a good blend of business and technical knowledge gained in a software development environment
- Strong data analysis expertise including data flows data mining and data governance
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and clearing houses advantageous
- A good knowledge of the superstream standard and messaging framework
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree
IIBA or similar industry standard certification preferred.
Required experience understanding or credentials including:
Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
Ability to understand business functionality business complexity and interdependencies
Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
Highly developed strategic analytical problem solving issues management and evaluation skills to
deliver innovative solutions
Understanding of modelling techniques such as business process models and notation (BPMN) data
flow diagrams and unified modelling language (UML) SIPOC and value stream analysis etc
Demonstrated experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria
