Summary

Are you a detail-oriented developer with a strong interest in building scalable integrated solutions on the ServiceNow platform

Iowa State University is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the Information Technology Services (ITS) team. This position plays a critical role in designing developing and enhancing digital workflows and applications across campus using ServiceNows modern development tools and integrations.

What youll do:

• Design and develop solutions using ServiceNow tools such as Flow Designer Studio App Engine Studio and Process Automation Designer.

• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript HTML CSS and AJAX to build custom functionality within ServiceNow.

• Develop and maintain reusable frameworks APIs and middleware to support scalable ITSM practices and service integration.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements define project scope and document development work.

• Participate in development projects of varying complexity serving as the lead developer for initiatives that improve user experience and system performance.

• Follow established development standards and best practices for ServiceNow environments.

• Support both planned and unplanned maintenance including occasional off-hours work.

This position will join a growing team dedicated to transforming campus service delivery through automation process improvement and user-centered design.
