Position: Senior Manager/Head – IT Infrastructure
Location: Pune/Mohali
Headcount Size: Approx. 1000 users supported
Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT Operations Infrastructure Network Helpdesk and Compliance. This is a critical leadership role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to ensure smooth IT operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead and manage IT Operations Network and Helpdesk teams.
Ensure system uptime performance and efficiency across all IT operations.
Implement and maintain IT security protocols as defined by the InfoSec team.
Manage the IT Helpdesk for timely and effective resolution of user issues.
Define and enforce IT policies and compliance with regulations and best practices.
Stay updated with emerging IT trends and recommend innovative solutions.
Manage IT budgets and resources efficiently.
Provide leadership with regular reports on IT operations metrics and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments for seamless tech integration.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (Master’s preferred).
15 years of experience in senior IT roles preferably in organizations with 1000 users.
Strong track record in IT strategy operations management and compliance.
Hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure cloud computing network security and IT service management.
Proven experience in managing and mentoring IT teams.
Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
