Job Summary
Assistant Restaurant Manager 5-Star Restaurant Kalahari
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious 5-Star Restaurant in the Kalahari. This is a live-in position offering a competitive salary of R16000 and up (negotiable depending on experience).
The ideal candidate will be highly organised guest-focused and able to deliver exceptional service while supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment
Strong administrative skills and ability to manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Confident in hosting and interacting with guests
Strong floor management and operational performance
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations
Ensure smooth service flow and high-quality guest experiences
Maintain and enforce SOPs and operational standards
Host and interact with guests providing a personalised dining experience
Support and supervise floor staff providing guidance and motivation
Manage administrative tasks including scheduling reporting and stock control
Ensure the restaurant is clean organised and fully compliant with health and safety standards
