About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Intern Civil Engineer to join their dynamic civil construction team. This full-time internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all phases of project delivery from design and documentation to on-site coordination and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Begin in an office-based support role assisting field supervisors and learning all project delivery processes from the ground up.
Contribute to the design and development of civil engineering plans drawings and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data monitor progress and ensure compliance with project standards.
Assist in preparing technical reports cost estimates and project documentation.
Liaise with contractors clients and stakeholders to support effective communication and project success.
Provide assistance in scheduling resource allocation and risk management for active projects.
Support the project management team and offer technical advice to construction crews when required.
Ensure adherence to relevant codes safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
01 year of experience in civil engineering construction or an internship environment.
Strong understanding of engineering principles construction practices and design fundamentals.
Familiarity with CAD software project management and design tools.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
