Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a strong background in test automation framework development and cloud-based testing environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in test strategy automation design and quality leadership - driving end-to-end testing excellence across multiple environments (Dev Stage and Production). This role requires proficiency in Cypress Bruno Postman and Azure Cloud Services along with a proven ability to design scalable automation solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain automation frameworks and test pipelines to ensure consistent test execution across environments.
Develop execute and monitor automated test scripts using Cypress Bruno and Postman.
Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies ensure comprehensive test coverage and deliver high-quality releases.
Drive continuous testing integration in CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are aligned with production setups.
Utilize Azure cloud components for test orchestration environment management and result reporting.
Conduct performance benchmarking and validate workflows through detailed execution plans.
Leverage Agentic AI tools (e.g. Claude GPT) to optimize testing and automation workflows.
Mentor and guide junior SDETs fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Maintain and enhance test documentation reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering product and compliance teams to ensure quality alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

9 years of experience in software testing including test planning execution defect management and reporting.
Strong hands-on experience in test automation and framework design (Cypress Bruno Postman).
Expertise in test pipeline design integration and reporting across Dev Stage and Prod environments.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Cloud Services and related components.
Proficiency with Git Gitflow and other version control systems.
Solid understanding of performance testing benchmarking and result analysis.
Proven experience in unit testing and mocking frameworks.
Exposure to AI-driven testing and Agentic AI tools (Claude GPT etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor junior testers.

Good to Have:

Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
Knowledge of microservices architectures and non-functional testing (performance security accessibility).
Familiarity with Generative AI and Spec-Driven Development practices.
Exposure to CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.
Experience with AWS or GCP cloud environments in addition to Azure.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic agile environment.
