Requirements
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who can plan design and execute testing activities across user interfaces business logic and data access layers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in authoring test cases troubleshooting software components and ensuring product quality through rigorous testing cycles. Exposure to SAP functional testing in HRM modules will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan design and execute tests across application layers including UI business logic and data access.
- Author and maintain test cases aligned with application requirements and business needs.
- Test troubleshoot and critique software components to identify defects and improvement opportunities.
- Provide efficient reporting on defect status team progress and personal assignments.
- Recommend solutions for test management execution and reporting to improve efficiency.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and end-user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm product compliance with end-user requirements.
- Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders regarding requirements system capabilities and enhancement status.
- Create and maintain test data to simulate real-life use cases.
- Apply test case design techniques to analyze test data and prepare comprehensive test cases.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong experience in test planning design execution and reporting.
- Hands-on expertise in authoring and managing test cases.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and critique software components.
- Experience in defect management and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business teams.
Good-to-Have Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP functional testing particularly in the HRM module.
- Familiarity with test management tools and automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in end-user acceptance testing within enterprise applications.
