Key responsibilities include planning routes maintaining the vehicles cleanliness and mechanical condition and providing customer service to passengers. Drivers also manage paperwork fuel the vehicle and complete pre- and post-trip checks.

Key responsibilities

Transport:Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers or goods to designated locations.
Navigation:Plan and follow the most efficient routes using navigational tools and adapt to changes as needed.
Safety and compliance:Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers cargo and other motorists.

Vehicle maintenance:Conduct regular vehicle inspections perform basic maintenance like checking oil and tires keep the vehicle clean and ensure its fueled.

Customer service:Provide assistance to passengers answer questions and ensure a comfortable and professional experience.

Record keeping:Maintain accurate records of trips mileage and fuel consumption as required by the employer.

Loading/unloading:Assist with loading and unloading goods or passengers personal belongings such as luggage.
