What are we looking for
As a Biomedical Engineering Manager you will spearhead the technical operations of a forward-thinking clinical engineering service. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the life cycle management of various medical devices ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Acts as a direct point of contact for clinical staff and equipment users offering specialized technical insight and guidance on asset management across diverse medical equipment throughout their life spans. This role demands extensive technical proficiency and the capacity to operate autonomously in both technical and administrative capacity.
Additionally accountable for directly supervising and leading a team of four engineers including oversight of performance appraisals workshop schedules and On-Call rotations.
Support the Head of Clinical Engineering and serve as a deputy when required contributing to strategic decision-making and ensuring smooth departmental operations
