The Construction Manager oversees all restaurant construction projects from inception to completion ensuring construction is in accordance with approved drawings and controlling cost time and quality. This role leads coaches and develops a team and coordinates cross-functionally.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Develop construction project estimates budgets reviews and master schedules with milestone events
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to meet project objectives
- Review and approve all project documents and negotiate final contracts
- Plan coordinate and oversee all activities regarding the construction and maintenance of restaurants ensuring projects meet each deadline and preparing routine project status reports
- Conduct construction site visits to ensure compliance and quality
- Direct consultants and resources according to as-builts field conditions and desired outcomes
- Amend construction resources and processes to increase time and cost efficiency
- Develop educational materials for construction management and project procedures
- Attend public hearings and conduct value engineering studies as requested
- Manage general contractors schedules punch lists performance and requests for information
Travel Requirements:
Qualifications :
- 10 years experience in restaurant construction
- Bachelors degree in construction architecture or engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Word
- Detail-oriented organized and flexible for timely multi-project management
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Starting from $104000 - 122000 annually plus additional incentives*
- The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a performance bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Pay is based on location experience and qualifications etc.
Additional Information :
The physical work environment for this role includes a combination of working from a home-based office representing Raising Canes out in the community traveling throughout the region as well as time spent in our Restaurants. This can and will include working in a fast-paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. This requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking standing and lifting. It also includes working both inside and outside in varied temperatures with and around food products and common allergens industrial equipment commercial cleaning products and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.
