Job Summary
Our client is a well-established infrastructure company delivering a range of roading and civil construction projects across New Zealand. They are currently seeking an experienced Roller Operator to join their crew based on Waiheke Island.
Location - Waiheke Island NZ
Pay Rate - $29 to $31 per hour depending on experience
Work Days & Hours - Must be flexible working Monday to Friday and the occasional weekend
Your Responsibilities
- Operate rollers and compacting machinery for roading and pavement projects.
- Carry out pre-start checks and ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with general civil and road construction duties when required.
- Work closely with site supervisors to meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating rollers within a civil construction or roading environment.
- Hold a current Class 2 licence and R endorsement.
- Good knowledge of compaction techniques and site safety procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
- Must be flexible with work days and hours
