Job Summary
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying or related field.
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent).
Experience in cost estimation tendering and contract administration.
Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and cost management software (e.g. Candy Primavera or similar).
Excellent analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction site environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents for civil works.
Evaluate contractors and subcontractors quotations claims and variations.
Monitor and control project costs budgets and cash flows.
Conduct on-site measurements and verify quantities of work executed.
Prepare interim and final payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.
Assist in contract negotiations risk management and dispute resolution.
Maintain accurate records of site activities material usage and progress reports.
Liaise with project managers engineers procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms company policies and legal requirements.
Support in preparing project financial reports and forecasts.
Promote cost-saving initiatives and recommend value engineering options.
