Griffith University seeks to appoint Indigenous leader of the highest calibre to lead coordinate promote and work with colleagues across the University in successfully enabling all aspects of the Universitys activity in First Peoples research innovation learning and teaching and engagement. The portfolio includes the Indigenous Research Unit and the GUMURRII Student Success Unit.
Reflecting the seniority of the role you will also lead the Logan campus working with the local community to grow and develop the campus in line with the Universitys strategic plan creating an inter-generational inter-cultural hub that serves the people of Logan.
To do this you will possess outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage colleagues across the university as well as with government commerce and community groups.
Modelling the highest standards of integrity you will be an influential and inspirational leader with an absolute commitment to harnessing the power of Griffith University to change lives and impact communities enabling Indigenous Australians to thrive academically socially and culturally.
To perform this role it is essential that you be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
