Job Description:

What a typical day looks like:

• Assist students with general questions related to financial aid billing and payment options

• Support student appointment prep and provide entry-level appointment coverage as needed

• Manage incoming inquiries via phone and shared inbox in collaboration with student workers

• Help coordinate outgoing communications through email text and the myPLNU portal

• Maintain digital content forms and documentation on the SFS website and student platform
  

Here is some of what youll need:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Experience with Microsoft Office Google Suite and web-based systems

• A student-first collaborative mindset with a desire to learn
  

Here are some of our preferred experiences:

• Experience in student services customer service or higher education

• Familiarity with systems such as Workday Salesforce or TargetX

• Experience supporting student workers or working in a team-oriented office

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred

Required Qualifications:

• Evidence of Christian commitment and active church addition staff agree to live in agreement with PLNUs Community Life Covenant.

• The job offer is contingent on the successful completion of a background check. PLNU will consider qualified applicants including those with criminal histories in a manner consistent with state and local Fair Chance laws.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time. Offices are equipped with standing desks.

• Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard mouse and monitor.

• Vision to read documents e-mail and other correspondence and reports on paper and the computer monitor.

• Ability to hear and communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.

• Will also stand stoop push pull and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day
