Why This Role Exists
The Sales Representative is the first point of contact for our customers setting the tone for their entire experience with HelpGrid. The impressions you create and the world-class service you deliver directly impact customer happiness and loyalty. Our sales team is built on integrity endurance and professionalism with each member committed to following company policies while bringing positive energy to every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer journey through lead generation pipeline management and effective communication.

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to callers recommend appropriate products and ensure every customer feels supported and valued.

  • Conduct outbound calls from generated leads to promote sell upsell and cross-sell products.

  • Call prospective clients to create new opportunities based on customer interests or past purchases.

  • Reach out to customers who abandoned their carts to address questions recover sales or upsell.

  • Ensure orders are complete and maximize every inbound call opportunity to cross-sell and upsell.

  • Manage non-voice accounts (SMS email ticketing) and follow up with leads or inquiries.

  • Strive to meet or exceed call center and sales targets while balancing customer experience with business goals.

  • Learn our products inside and out to confidently sell upsell and cross-sell.

  • Maintain and update accurate customer records to support efficiency and reporting.

  • Participate in training and ongoing learning opportunities to strengthen knowledge of company products and operations.

  • Build strong relationships with customers and teammates based on trust and reliability.

  • Continuously refine sales and communication techniques product knowledge and technical skills.

  • Maintain a positive empathetic and professional attitude with customers and colleagues at all times.

Additional Qualifications

  • 12 years of outbound sales call center experience (required)

  • Customer Service experience: 1 year (required)

  • Cold calling experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Retention experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask organize and prioritize effectively

  • Patient warm professionalism and strong endurance in sales

  • Self-starter with motivation to hit and exceed targets

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Requirements

Since this is a remote role youll need to provide your own equipment and create a workspace that helps you stay focused and comfortable.

Heres what youll need:

  • Computer: Laptop or desktop with at least an Intel i5 processor (or equivalent) and 8GB RAM. Chromebooks netbooks or tablets will not be sufficient.

  • Internet: Secure reliable high-speed connection (minimum 50 Mbps) with a backup option to stay connected.

  • Power Backup: A dependable solution to minimize downtime during outages.

  • Workspace: A quiet dedicated area free from distractions.

  • Headset: USB headset with clear audio quality for effective conversations.
