Job Summary:
Were looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a pre-sales and support engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs resources and timelines for control system automation projects & service contracts. This role requires ability to develop strong technical knowledge attention to detail and excellent professional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to estimate costs resources and timelines.
- Develop accurate cost estimates including labor materials and equipment.
- Prepare and submit proposals bids and tenders for control system automation projects/maitnenance contracts
- Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand project scope technical requirements and potential risks.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends pricing and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates proposals and project outcomes.
- Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Control Automation or related field).
- 1-3 years of experience in control system automation proposals estimation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of control system automation technologies (e.g. PLC DCS SCADA).
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g. Excel MS Project).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation platforms (e.g. Rockwell Siemens ABB).
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
- Certification in proposal estimation or a related field.
