Job Summary

Oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and tax compliance.
Monitor analyze and report on financial performance providing actionable insights to management.
Lead the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
Deliver 100% accurate financial statements (monthly quarterly and annual) within
5 days of period close.
Ensure 100% compliance with IFRS tax and local regulatory standards.
Limit post-submission adjustments to no more than 2 per quarter.
Develop and present an annual budget by January 15 with quarterly rolling forecasts presented at quarterly business reviews.
Achieve 95% accuracy in revenue cost and profit forecasting.
Provide data-driven financial insights for at least 3 strategic decisions per year.
Achieve zero major or critical audit findings by strengthening internal controls and
conducting quarterly risk reviews.
Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Conduct bi-annual financial policy reviews and updates to reflect best practices.
Automate at least 25% of manual finance processes within the first 12 months
achieving measurable time savings.
Optimize working capital to maintain a minimum current ratio of 2.0.
Reduce the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) by 10% within the first year.
Collaborate with the CFO to develop a 3-year financial strategy by Q3 2025 aligning with ISNs growth and profitability goals.
Deliver insights and recommendations to support key investment decisions achieving a minimum ROI of 15% on all major projects.
Build and retain a high-performing finance team with 90% of team members meeting or exceeding their performance objectives.
Develop and implement a skills enhancement plan for the finance team within 6 months ensuring at least one professional certification per team member annually.
Maintain an employee engagement score of 80% or higher within the finance team.
Recommend a minimum of 3 candidates each year that meet specified hiring criteria to fill open positions within the company with at least 1 of those candidates
successfully hired.

HND or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Economics (Masters degree or MBA is an added advantage).
A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
Professional certification such as ACA ACCA CPA or CFA required.
710 years progressive experience in accounting or finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Solid knowledge of IFRS GAAP tax regulations and corporate finance principles.
Proven experience with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
Advanced proficiency in financial management software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management frameworks
