About the Project/Department
By joining this role within Exploration & Production Norway you will work with Marine Technology focusing on offshore maritime and mooring systems. The position involves maintaining technical integrity ensuring safety and supporting continuous improvement across marine operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Follow up on technical integrity
- Deliver integrity status and propose corrective mitigating measures in relevant systems
- Perform technical condition safety verifications of maritime systems
- Establish and continuously improve maintenance programs
- Update system and operational documentation
- Provide technical support to projects
- Conduct risk assessments
- Follow up offshore installations and travel offshore if needed
Competence Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Masters degree or higher preferably within offshore/platform/marine technology
- Experience within offshore maritime and mooring systems
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and national/international standards for marine systems
- Familiarity with relevant rules and requirements such as NORSOK and internal technical documentation
Language:
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
Skills and Personal Qualities:
- Strong HSE focus
- Collaborative dynamic and good team skills
- Ability to understand and manage risk
- Analytical and structured approach
