Job Description
Job Purpose
This hybrid role combines project management leadershipwith hands-on system engineering expertise. The position ensures successful delivery of ITOT-related projects while maintaining operational excellence across IT and OT environments. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines budgets and stakeholder communication while being capable of performing technical tasks such as patching configuration and troubleshooting within the ITOT domain.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead ITOT projects from initiation to completion ensuring scope quality and timelines are met.
- Develop project plans budgets procurement manage resources and report progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors ship management teams and internal ITOT teams for seamless execution.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned and best practices across projects.
System Engineering:
- Perform patching cycles for critical systems routers firewalls and switches telephony and CCTV systems.
- Monitor and analyse system performance (availability throughput latency) and implement tuning measures.
- Troubleshoot network and OT issues; escalate to vendors when necessary.
- Configure and maintain wired and wireless infrastructure including IP addressing and firewall rules.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and maritime regulations.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate network and OT documentation including master plans and configuration records.
- Support audits and enforce adherence to IT security policies and legal requirements.
