Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Engineer to join our technical team in Trondheim. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational readiness by integrating technical knowledge equipment reliability and team performance.

This role interfaces with engineering operations and support functions to ensure alignment with organisational standards and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and compliant maintenance repairs testing and calibration to support operational readiness.

  • Provide guidance and expertise in the workshop resolving complex technical issues and supporting junior team members.

  • Manage daily workshop activities allocate resources efficiently and ensure safe and effective use of tools and equipment.

  • Ensure all maintenance and operational activities align with company policies manufacturer guidelines and QHSSE standards.

  • Support inbound/outbound logistics stock control and documentation using warehouse management systems.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Oceanography Meteorology Environmental Science Engineering or a related technical field

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance or workshop operations

  • Strong understanding of Metocean instrumentation and systems

  • Familiarity with QHSSE standards and procedures

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical design and development (mechanical/electrical/electronic)

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and hazardous materials handling

  • Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
