As a Service & Commissioning Engineer you will:
- Perform on-site commissioning testing and validation of Hives autonomy systems on industrial machines
- Hive workshop when needed
- Support deployment of sensors compute units networking and control interfaces in the field
- Troubleshoot issues across hardware electrical systems networking software and system integration
- Execute functional tests system verification and acceptance testing in collaboration with customers and internal teams
- Support field operations service activities and upgrades throughout the system lifecycle
- Provide feedback from field experience to engineering and product teams to improve system robustness and usability
- Ensure all work follows internal quality standards safety procedures and documentation requirements
- Participate in international travel for customer-site commissioning and support
- Contribute and add to Hive Quality System
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with commissioning testing or servicing complex technical or industrial systems
- Practical hands-on competence with sensors electrical systems PLCs industrial networking or embedded systems
- Comfortable working at the intersection of hardware software and real-world operations
- Experience troubleshooting systems in the field under time and operational constraints
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation system architectures and wiring diagrams
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly both domestically and internationally
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical solution-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree vocational certificate or equivalent experience in Mechatronics Electrical Engineering Automation Robotics or a related field
- Experience from industrial machinery robotics automotive offshore or similar industries
- Proficient in English
- Willingness to travel for customer-site commissioning and testing
