Seminaries & Institutes (S&I) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking to hire an experienced mixed methods product researcher to join our team in supporting the global mission of S&I and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day this role you will plan conduct and share research that informs a wide range of Church products and programsincluding websites curriculum classroom experiences and more. You will need to be conversant and skilled in a variety of research methods both quantitative and qualitative.
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information about the needs of parents teachers students S&I employees and church leaders around the world.
Your work will assist S&I leadership in making informed inspired decisions. This position supports the S&I research manager to provide timely relevant and reliable information to administrators and product teams to help them respond to the diverse challenges and opportunities of delivering spiritual and temporal education to youth and young adults throughout the world.
This role is a hybrid position that requires being at the downtown Salt Lake City Church Office Building at least three days a week.
Design and execute research using a variety of methodsincluding focus groups surveys digital experimentation literature reviews interviews observations and fieldworktailored to specific audiences and goals.
Executive Level Interaction: effectively understand leadership needs council with executive groups and communicate research findings to executive-level stakeholders.
Consult with internal partners to understand research needs provide guidance and deliver impactful findings that drive decision making.
Lead and contribute to research projects including planning documentation and coordination of timelines deliverables and team contributions.
Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear actionable insights that answer research questions and inform decisions.
Mentor and support peers in research methods and best practices fostering a culture of empathy curiosity and continuous learning.
Support global research initiatives which may include international travel to better understand and represent diverse user needs.
Education:
Masters degree or aligned professional experience
