Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) every other weekend required
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $48$49 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry Stepdownfor an exciting job in Cincinnati OH.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact state).
Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown experience required.
Proficiency with cardiac drips (e.g. Amiodarone Lasix Cardizem Dopamine Dobutamine Milrinone).
Strong ECG interpretation and rhythm recognition skills.
Experience with postopen heart cardiac cath vascular surgery and cardiac patient care preferred (not required).
ACLS certification required; BLS certification required.
Excellent communication teamwork and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a 28-bed cardiac medical stepdown environment.
Care for patients recovering from vascular and electrophysiology procedures as well as those with acute MI arrhythmias syncope cardiomyopathy and heart failure.
Administer and titrate multiple IV cardiac medications and provide conscious sedation for cardioversions.
Interpret ECGs and cardiac rhythms accurately.
Maintain ACLS certification and participate in continued skill development.
Float as needed to CVSU Cardiopulmonary Heart & Vascular Stepdown Comp Med Stepdown and Cardiology Tele Stepdown units.
Collaborate effectively with physicians peers and interdisciplinary teams.
Adhere to established clinical standards safety protocols and documentation requirements.
