At Grab our Strategic Finance team drives our financial strategy to ensure sustainable profitable growth. We partner with different departments to provide senior management with both operational and financial analysis strategic planning and decision support ensuring that Grab continues to expand.

Get to know the Role

Reporting to our Regional Strategic Finance Lead you will drive financial planning and analysis initiatives business partnering and strategic decision-making. You will have a strong finance background excellent technical and analytical skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across various business functions.

This is an onsite role and our office is based in Petaling Jaya Selangor.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will perform detailed financial analysis to support budgeting forecasting and long-term planning. You will prepare management reports with key performance indicators and actionable insights partner with business leaders to meet their financial needs and help develop automate and transform financial models based on business drivers and market trends.
• You will support the development automation and transformation of financial models incorporating key business drivers and market trends.
• You will work with key stakeholders across the organization providing financial expertise and guidance to support informed business decisions. You will collaborate on strategic initiatives by evaluating financial impacts and recommending optimal solutions.
• You will drive process improvements within the finance function taking ownership to ensure accuracy and proactively resolve issues.
• You will actively participate in special projects or initiatives as needed demonstrating a hands-on approach to your work.

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a financial forecasting or business partnering role
• Proficient in Excel and expanding expertise in business intelligence tools like Power BI
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools like SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics
• Basic knowledge of SQL Python Databricks will be an advantage
• Experience in a Regional FP&A or Strategic Finance role will be a significant advantage.
