Job Summary
THIS POSITION IS FOR NEW GRADUATE NURSES
The ideal candidate for this position should have;
- Graduate from an approved Nursing School. Positive interpersonal/communication/supervisory skills. Computer skills necessary to document review information and send information.
- Currently licensed in the State of Maryland.
- BLS Provider Completion.
Description
- Performs assessments and reassessments as appropriate for the patients needs collecting data from all sources to assist with formulating a nursing diagnosis.
- Develops an individualized Plan of Care based on the patients assessment with mutual realistic and measurable goals and documents this thoroughly in the patients record.
- Coordinates and directs available resources and personnel in developing and following the Plan of Care.
- Performs treatments including medication administration as ordered by the physician and carries out nursing interventions in accordance with the Plan of Care.
- Evaluates the patients response to treatments/interventions through reassessment and revises the Plan of Care as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Graduate from an approved Nursing School. Positive interpersonal/communication/supervisory skills. Computer skills necessary to document review information and send information.
- Currently licensed in the State of Maryland.
- ACLS Provider Completion within 1 year of employment in the following departments: ICU/IMC PACU Interventional Radiology GI Lab and ED.
- PALS Completion within 1 year of employment in the following departments: PACU and Emergency Department.
- BLS Provider Completion.
