The primary responsibility of the Sr. Rebate Analyst role is to support the calculation and reporting of rebate outcomes to Customers Sales Contracting Finance and various internal stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles data analysis contract evaluation organization and stakeholder engagement. This role also contributes and represents the department through ideation execution and implementation of process improvement initiatives as defined in annual objectives or self-identified. This position will be a Hybrid position in Bogotá.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Rebate and calculation management: Support Medtronics Cardiovascular portfolio by providing rebate reports calculation summaries and handling inquiries as the single point of contact.
- Data processing and analysis: Manage the end-to-end calculation process coordinating collecting and reviewing data with advanced analytics to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Contractual and issue management: Review contract terms maintain issue logs and communicate resolutions to prevent revenue shortfalls.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Sales Contracting Finance and technical/non-technical stakeholders to meet requirements increase revenue and reduce financial risks.
- Monitoring and continuous improvement: Oversee accruals pending payments and credit trends; provide mid-period reports and recommend process improvements for better decision-making
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Education: Bachelors degree in business administration International Business or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in customer-facing financial sales support or analytic roles.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel Business Objects or equivalent reporting tools.
- Additional Assets: Knowledge of legal terms Vistex rebate software (SAP) and/or a masters degree in engineering Program Management or Compliance is advantageous.
