Level 1 Help Desk/Entry level IT
Ferman Automotive Management Services has an immediate opening for a Level 1 Help Desk/Entry Level IT person.
Must be energetic and have excellent guest satisfaction phone skills and a bright smile. Friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Help Desk Support
- Respond promptly to Help Desk tickets
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- User accounts (Active Directory Microsoft third-party systems)
- Software applications (Microsoft Office Dealertrack VinSolutions xTime etc.)
- Hardware (PCs monitors printers phones network equipment)
- Perform software installations updates and configurations
- Coordinate and perform hardware repairs (Lenovo Dell warranty support)
- Manage VOIP phone updates and user changes
Technical Support & Projects
- Assist with IT projects in collaboration with team members
- Provide technical support to business owners and family members
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and user guides
- Support data room infrastructure and hardware deployments
Inventory & Procurement
- Maintain accurate IT parts and hardware inventory
- Ensure appropriate stock levels of critical equipment
- Perform monthly inventory audits
- Create manage and track IT purchase orders and invoices
- Coordinate decommissioning of old equipment and secure data erasure
- Oversee hardware recycling and vendor pickup

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment including:
- IT workspaces and shared areas
- Storage and inventory rooms
- Support co-workers and departments across IT functions as needed

- Work professionally and respectfully with all colleagues
