New Horizons Primary Schoolis seeking to appoint aHigher Level Teacher Assistant (HLTA)to join our dedicated and supportive team.

In this vital role you will:

Deliver lessonsto cover teacher PPA time and training
Work alongside class teachersto raise the learning and attainment of pupils promoting pupils independence self-esteem and social inclusion
Support individual pupils or small groupsto access the curriculum and engage actively in their learning
Play a crucial rolein both classroom-based and wider school activities

You will be an integral part of the school community making a tangible difference every day.

• A HLTA qualification would be desirable or the attribute to work towards obtaining this
• Previous experience in Key Stage 1 or/and Key Stage 2
• Passionate about inclusive education with the ability to support all learners
• A team player with initiative able to work collaboratively while also demonstrating independence
• Well-developed interpersonal skills in order to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people including pupils staff parents and external professionals.
• An excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
