Med/Surg RN needed in Brooksville FL.

This position is with a progressive financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: $30.76 - $41.50 based on years of experience
• Night differential: $4.75
• Weekend differentials: $3.00/hr
• National Certification- $2:00
• Sign-on:
  • $10K- Days 2% is paid out on the 1st/2nd check the balance is paid out in 6-month increments
  • $15K- Nights 2% is paid out on the 1st/2nd check the balance is paid out in 6-month increments

Responsibilities

• 1 year of acute care experience required. Open to LTACH Home Health and Rehab exp
• Assess the patients condition during admission and each scheduled shift promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures monitoring or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patients medical record. - Administer prescribed medications monitor the patient for therapeutic response and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests proactively anticipating patient needs and resolving them.
• Educate patients families and caregivers about the patients medical condition treatment plan medications possible side effects and follow-up measures ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse in Florida
• Associate Degree
• Onsites are Mandatory
• Will consider LTACH HomeHealth and Rehab experience
• 1 year of acute care experience required.
