Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer II to join our team. This position will support all phases of the construction process from preconstruction and estimating to active construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction across all phases and possess strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for the construction industry.

Supervisory Responsibility: N/A

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

• Collaborate with the preconstruction and estimating teams to develop accurate project proposals budgets and schedules.
• Assist in conducting site visits and evaluating project requirements.
• Utilize construction software and tools to assist in the preparation of bids and estimates.
• Analyze project plans specifications and drawings to identify potential issues and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist in obtaining subcontractor and vendor quotes and maintain a comprehensive cost database.
• Support project managers in coordinating project activities including procurement scheduling and resource allocation.
• Assist in preparing and submitting project documentation including submittals RFIs and change orders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates on project status and progress.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for efficiency gains and process enhancements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in construction management project management or business administration
• 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry with exposure to preconstruction and estimating preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction management software such as Autodesk or Bluebeam.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• Possess the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must have a valid drivers license and insurable driving record

Eligibility Requirement:
Due to federal contract requirements associated with work performed candidates must be U.S. citizens and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Location Requirement:
This position is based in the Tri-Cities Washington area. Candidates must reside locally or be available for immediate relocation at their own expense. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary Range:

Salary: $78868.94 minimum to $88698.80 midpoint $100246.92 superior candidate

Typically candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on applicable experience qualifications and alignment with preferred skills.
